Breastfeeding Support Program

The Breastfeeding Support Program provides breastfeeding mothers on the UC Davis campus with lactation consultations, support group meetings, and the use of hospital-grade breast pumps to collect milk.  There are 28 lactation rooms across campus.

FFHI is keeping it an ongoing campus activity, and will be expanding its capacity.  Soon others will be able to learn how to build a similar support system in their workplaces.  Classes will be offered to companies, institutions and state and federal agencies so that they can also have state of the art lactation support programs for their employees.
