Graduate Student's Research Recognized as Most-Read in Prestigious Chemistry Journal
Charles Nwosu's paper on glycosylation analysis in protein mixtures was featured as one of the top read articles in the Journal of Proteome Research.
An article written by Foods for Health Institute-affiliated graduate student Charles Nwosu was featured as one of the most read articles of Q2 in the Journal of Proteome Research. Nwosu is a Chemistry Ph.D. student at Davis and is currently working in Dr. Carlito Lebrilla's lab. It is a well-deserved honor for his co-authored article, "Simultaneous and Extensive Site-specific N- and O-Glycosylation Analysis in Protein Mixtures," to be recognized as one of the top read articles in one of the most highly-regarded journals in chemistry.
Nwosu began studying glycoproteins when he joined Dr. Lebrilla's lab in 2007. His recent research has been focused on developing new methods and improving well-established methods of characterizing glycosylation in proteins.
