1st International Vitamin Conference

To establish a forum for scientists and regulators for whom the vitamins are of major concern.

The scientific programme includes lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions. The focus of the conference will be on the following topics:

 - how do results of analytical methods influence food composition data
 - how to assess the relative bioactivity of vitamers in foods
 - do the analytical results reflect the contribution to vitamin status from 
   foods
 - advantages and disadvantages of the analytical methods used in
   human research, nutrient profiling, checking labels and fortification
   levels

billristenpart FFHI Faculty member, Bill Ristenpart

was recently published in Nature for his exciting new research!  The new study shows that there is a point at which an increased electrical field actually keeps droplets from coalescing.

These surprising findings, published in the Sept. 17 issue of the journal Nature, could lead to improved applications in diverse fields including microchip manufacturing, biofuel and crude oil purification, and food oil processing. The research also increases our understanding of atmospheric conduction.  Link to article...
