Farm-to-College Night is a biannual event celebrating a more sustainable food system.

Several aspects of the meal will include sustainably produced, locally grown, and humanely raised components.  An opportunity for student to learn about the power of their food dollar and consumer choice, the event will entail educational activities and opportunities to explore where our food is coming from.

billristenpart FFHI Faculty member, Bill Ristenpart

was recently published in Nature for his exciting new research!  The new study shows that there is a point at which an increased electrical field actually keeps droplets from coalescing.

These surprising findings, published in the Sept. 17 issue of the journal Nature, could lead to improved applications in diverse fields including microchip manufacturing, biofuel and crude oil purification, and food oil processing. The research also increases our understanding of atmospheric conduction.  Link to article...
