Biography
Lan Guan has earned a bachelor's degree in biological engineering and a master's degree in food chemistry. Guan is currently the lab manager for the German Group, in charge of the separation lab in the Functional Glycobiology Program. The mission of the separation lab is to extract oligosaccharides, lactoferrin and other biomolecular components from milk to support several core research laboratories with substrate for use in a diverse array of functional experiments and chemical characterization analyses.
