Human Studies

One of the goals of the FFHI is to provide an infrastructure for designing, implementing, and managing human studies that serve as a resource for our multidisciplinary research programs and its partners. These studies are designed to accomplish the FFHI objectives which include (1) testing the assessment technologies that accurately measure health; (2) validating the molecular targets of health that are modifiable by food and lifestyle; and (3) translating the discoveries at the molecular level to personalized food and lifestyle solutions.

We provide expertise in study design, drafting Institutional Review Board protocols, subject recruitment; sample collection, annotation and storage; and statistical analyses. We also plan and conduct on-going human intervention studies that provide valuable sample banks in key areas of research for the FFHI Programs and Projects.
